Long &wavy or Short &sleek?

I am torn between leaving long hair and cutting it short.

I love the way my hair was when it was shorter.
Sleek, gorgeous (hair, not me) but it needs quite a lot maintenance.

&I've always wanted to try that long wavy hair look.
But short hair seems to suit me more.
